Cos'è il punto di rugiada?

The dew point is the temperature at which air becomes saturated with water vapor and condensation starts to form. It is always less than or equal to the air temperature. Dew point is a better indicator of comfort than relative humidity alone, because it directly measures the amount of moisture in the air. This calculator uses the Magnus formula, widely used in meteorology and HVAC applications.

Formula Magnus

α = (A × T) / (B + T) + ln(RH / 100)

Td = (B × α) / (A − α)

Dove A = 17,27, B = 237,7 °C, T = temperatura (°C), RH = umidità relativa (%), Td = punto di rugiada (°C)

Punto di rugiada

Enter air temperature and relative humidity. Get dew point with comfort level.

Umidità relativa

Immettere la temperatura dell'aria e il punto di rugiada. Ottieni l'umidità relativa (%).

Temperatura

Enter dew point and relative humidity. Get the air temperature.

Convert between °C, °F, and K.

Livelli di comfort del punto di rugiada

Punto di rugiada (°C) Livello di comfort Descrizione
< 10AsciuttoVery comfortable, dry air.
10 – 16ComodoPleasant conditions.
16 – 18Leggermente umidoMost people comfortable.
18 – 21UmidoSome discomfort, sticky feeling.
21 – 24Molto umidoUncomfortable, oppressive.
> 24Estremamente umidoDangerous, heat exhaustion risk.

Note importanti

  • Dew point is always ≤ air temperature.
  • La formula di Magnus è accurata per temperature comprese tra −45 °C e 60 °C.
  • Relative humidity must be between 0 % and 100 %.
  • Dew point is a better comfort indicator than RH alone.
