What is the Salary Calculator?

The Salary Calculator helps you convert pay between hourly, daily, weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, monthly, and annual amounts. It also lets you calculate salary raises (percentage or fixed amount), compare two job offers on an annual basis, and compute overtime pay for a given week. All conversions use the hours per week and weeks per year you enter (default 40 and 52).

Calculator Modes

전환하다

Enter one pay amount and its period; see the equivalent in all other periods (hourly, daily, weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, monthly, annual).

들어올리다

Enter current annual salary and a raise as a percentage or dollar amount. Results show new salary, raise amount, percentage increase, and approximate monthly and per-paycheck increase.

비교하다

Enter two offers (amount and period for each). The calculator converts both to annual and shows which is better and by how much.

시간 외에

Enter hourly rate, regular hours, overtime hours, and OT multiplier (e.g. 1.5x). Results show regular pay, overtime pay, total weekly pay, and an estimated monthly projection.

사용방법

  1. Choose a mode: Convert, Raise, Compare, or Overtime.
  2. Fill in the fields for that mode (amount, period, hours/week, weeks/year for Convert; current salary and raise for Raise; two offers for Compare; rate and hours for Overtime).
  3. Click 'Calculate Salary' to see your results. The main result appears in the hero card; the breakdown and chart (when available) appear below.
  4. Scroll to the results area to see the full breakdown and any chart.

Understanding Results and Charts

The hero card shows the primary result for the selected mode (e.g. annual salary for Convert, new salary for Raise). The chart visualizes the breakdown: bar chart for conversions or offer comparison, doughnut for raise (current vs raise) or overtime (regular vs overtime). All amounts are in your chosen currency (USD by default).

중요 사항

  • Conversions assume a fixed schedule (e.g. 40 hours/week, 52 weeks/year). Actual pay may vary with overtime, unpaid leave, or different schedules.
  • Overtime: In the U.S., non-exempt employees typically receive at least 1.5× regular rate for hours over 40 per workweek (FLSA). State rules may differ.
