What is a Golf Handicap?
A golf handicap is a numerical measure of a golfer's potential ability. The World Handicap System (WHS) provides a unified handicapping system so golfers of different skill levels can compete fairly. This calculator supports all 5 major WHS calculations.
5 Calculation Modes
Handicap Index (WHS)
Average of best differentials × 0.96
Course Handicap
CH = HI × (SR/113) + (CR − Par)
Score Differential
SD = (AGS − CR) × (113 / SR)
Net Score
Net = Gross − Course Handicap
Playing Handicap
PH = CH × (Allowance / 100)
