O que é ponto de orvalho?

The dew point is the temperature at which air becomes saturated with water vapor and condensation starts to form. It is always less than or equal to the air temperature. Dew point is a better indicator of comfort than relative humidity alone, because it directly measures the amount of moisture in the air. This calculator uses the Magnus formula, widely used in meteorology and HVAC applications.

Fórmula Magno

α = (A × T) / (B + T) + ln(RH / 100)

Td = (B × α) / (A − α)

Onde A = 17,27, B = 237,7 °C, T = temperatura (°C), RH = umidade relativa (%), Td = ponto de orvalho (°C)

Ponto de orvalho

Enter air temperature and relative humidity. Get dew point with comfort level.

Umidade relativa

Insira a temperatura do ar e o ponto de orvalho. Obtenha umidade relativa (%).

Temperatura

Enter dew point and relative humidity. Get the air temperature.

Níveis de conforto do ponto de orvalho

Ponto de Orvalho (°C) Nível de conforto Descrição
< 10SecoVery comfortable, dry air.
10 – 16ConfortávelPleasant conditions.
16 – 18Ligeiramente úmidoMost people comfortable.
18 – 21ÚmidoSome discomfort, sticky feeling.
21 – 24Muito úmidoUncomfortable, oppressive.
> 24Extremamente úmidoDangerous, heat exhaustion risk.

Notas importantes

  • Dew point is always ≤ air temperature.
  • A fórmula de Magnus é precisa para temperaturas de -45 °C a 60 °C.
  • Relative humidity must be between 0 % and 100 %.
  • Dew point is a better comfort indicator than RH alone.
